Portion of Proceeds to Go towards Helping to Bring Bacon Bacon’s Food Truck Back to Streets of San Francisco after Truck Destroyed by Recent Engine Fire
SAN FRANCISCO (December 05, 2012) – W San Francisco Executive Chef Paul Piscopo’s side-by-side culinary collaboration with San Francisco food truck chefs continues with Bacon Bacon at the “Local Motion” dinner event at TRACE restaurant on Wednesday, December 19. A portion of the proceeds from the dinner event will go towards helping to bring Bacon Bacon’s raved-about food truck – which was destroyed by a recent engine fire – back to the streets of San Francisco.
At Local Motion with Bacon Bacon – the third in a new series of collaborative dinner events between Piscopo and San Francisco food truck chefs – Piscopo welcomes the Bacon Bacon team into his kitchen to collaborate on a fun and casual menu that expresses their unique culinary passions and perspectives in a lively and engaging dinner party setting.
At 6 p.m., the evening begins around the TRACE communal table as guests nosh on items such as Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Bacon Jam, Tillamook Cheddar and Bacon, paired with cocktails created by a W San Francisco mixologist. At 6:30 p.m., guests take their seats to enjoy, for the first time, a family-style menu and optional cocktail pairings. Menu items include: Mini Cobb Salad served in Little Gem Lettuce Hearts with Bacon Jam Vinaigrette; Braised Pork Belly, Escarole Salad and Olive and Bacon Vinaigrette; Scallops, Bacon and Clam Risotto; and more.
